Bio

Tara Rose Gladstone is an American storyteller and actress from Del Mar, California.  She is best known for her role as Grace in the feature film “Hunger Diaries.” She moved to Los Angeles after spending eight years in Barcelona, Spain where she also worked on a number of independent films and theater productions.  Her studies include workshops with world-renowned British acting coach Mel Churcher, Michael Chekhov technique with Marjo-Riikka Makela,  the Meisner and Chubbuck technique with Frank Feys, and the Lecoq technique with Berty Tovías.

Tara has a Bachelors degree in Dance, a Masters in Communication, and has ghostwritten more than ten books published by houses such as McGraw Hill, Penguin Putnam, and BenBella.  She is bilingual in English and Spanish and also speaks Catalan.

Some of her most joyous moments off-set include: Jumping off boats and snorkeling in Cadaqués, Spain; smelling flowers in the gardens of Buddhist temples in Kyoto, Japan; moving through and choreographing modern dance pieces in Boulder, Colorado; hearing powder move under her snowboard at Whistler in Canada; the delight of seeing rainbows while riding horses on Kauai, HI; singing Kate Bush songs in her apartment daily; and a plethora of conversations with friends and strangers (many times, many places).

Bringing scripts to life with breath, images, emotion, movement, and language is Tara’s greatest passion.  She aims to dedicate her time to projects that inspire people to choose love, live joyfully, have gratitude, be empathetic, find hope, and to fight for their dreams.
